When they are young you might just be calling out to them on the slide in the minority language, as you chat in the local language with other parents. But as they grow up, the children come and chat too.Annenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5170764364936678547.post-42256149001860778632012-04-19T11:48:48.249+01:002012-04-19T11:48:48.249+01:00@James: do you happen to have any pointers?

The training can be given from childhood if we are not blessed with it as our mother tongue.spoken englishhttp://www.talktocanada.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5170764364936678547.post-27188328012581766062012-04-17T12:35:46.699+01:002012-04-17T12:35:46.699+01:00Thanks @Fiona and @Perogyo for your comments. I agree that it is hard if outside the house you speak the majority language.

To @spoken_english: this obviously only applies to those of us who are not blessed with English as their mother tongue and only to expats.

So, to clarify: use your mother tongue when you speak with your kids, or any other language that you master totally.BabalDadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12462472771197361179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5170764364936678547.post-82453337540738940642012-04-17T12:28:23.465+01:002012-04-17T12:28:23.465+01:00Speak english use in globally. english language is...Speak english use in globally. english language is our mother language . Even the 4 year old corrects my pronunciation!Fionahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18424922059801631976noreply@blogger.com
